The Arenas

The gaming world is still awaiting Starcraft, one of the most anticipated games to date.
Starcraft will be produced by Blizzard, of the warcraft2 fame. 

Slated to be released in mid to late 1997,  the current word from Blizzard is "soon".

Starcraft is a real-time strategy game, where you choose to represent one of 3 totally different races, the Protoss, Zerg, or Terran. Set in space, the Beta test version offers multi-player gaming only.  We wait patiently.  Somewhat!

Meanwhile, on the Strategy game front, TA, Age of Empires and Myth seem to be pacifying  all the gamers who were saving their  Christmas cash for Starcraft.  Maybe put a hold on your Easter cash? Time will tell.
